SENATOR ODUAH PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO GOVERNOR CHUKWUMA SOLUDO

Yesterday, 7th of July 2022, the Distinguished Senator representing Anambra North, Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah OON, paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the Executive Governor of Anambra State.
The Senator, whose entourage included a one time Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly and former Member of the Federal House of Representatives, Mrs. Eucharia Azodo, Honorable Member representing Ayamelum Federal Constituency, Barr. Vincent Ofumelu, Member representing Ogbaru 2 in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Somto Udeze, Member representing Anambra East in the state House of Assembly, Hon. Obinna Emenaka and a host of other aides, brought good tidings from the people of Anambra North and thanked the Governor for choosing Anambra North, specifically Okpoko as his first destination immediately after his swearing in as Governor.
Senator Oduah expressed her delight and high regard at the Governor’s robust and comprehensive blueprint which she said was obviously a great visionary, meticulous, paradigm shifting and well thought out document depicting a deep knowledge of challenges bedeviling the state and a resolve to address and rectify them which would naturally bring about revolutionary development like never before seen in the annals of Anambra State and pledged her unalloyed support to the Governor in his passionate quest to revamp the fortunes of the State.
She informed the Governor about the recent success of her bill for the establishment of a Federal Medical Center which has not only been passed but necessitated the upgrading of the Onitsha General Hospital to a Federal Medical Center.
She seized the opportunity to solicit the cooperation of the Governor in the area of making land available to ensure that the Federal Government’s intention to massively erect structures at the brand new FMC Onitsha, comes to fruition.
Senator Oduah promised to partner and collaborate with the Prof.Soludo led Government to ensure that everything that should accrue to the state from the Federal Government, is speedily approved whilst affirming the fact that party affiliation should never trump such collaborative opportunities that can better the lot of ndi Anambra.
In his remarks, Governor Soludo, welcomed the Senator and her team to the Government House which he said, belonged to every Anambrarian and thanked her for her numerous efforts at bettering the lot of ndi Anambra North.
He agreed with her on the need for improved synergy between his Government and her office whilst affirming a resolve to ensure that the Okpoko area is transformed from the urban slum that it is, to an area every Anambrarian would be proud of.
Gov. Soludo who nicknamed Oduah, Adadioramma, reiterated his resolve to work for all Anambrarians whilst pointing out his resolve to kickstart work on roads as soon as the rains subside.
Indeed the visit was a meeting of old friends both united and burning with a passion to see Anambra work and there remains no doubt that this partnership would usher in a wave of development like never before seen in the annals of Anambra State.
