Actor, Voice Over Guru, Johnson Davidson Is Dead!

Nigeria’s entertainment industry has lost yet another major player. Johnson Davidson, the actor and voice over guru behind Heavy Metal Studio is no more.
In his 50s and from the South-South, JD, hours ago, went to be with the Lord after battling kidney failure, alongside other illnesses, for years.
Details of where and how it happened are still sketchy. However, one of his close friends and also one of those that struggled to raise funds for his treatment, Zubby Enebeli, broke the sad news on his Facebook page thus: “Rest in Peace.
Heavy Metal.
Rest in Peace
Good Man.
Rest in Peace
Johnson Davidson.
It is well.”
Davidson was in his 50s and reportedly married and blessed with children. Before being knocked down by the sickness, which left him bedridden and depending on oxygen for sometime, was a ladies’ man. Among those he dated back then were star actresses Ngozi Nwosu, Franca Brown and Lilian Back.
He immortalised his voice with works like Global Excellence (Oga for magazine), Domitilla (Ashewo no be work) and dozens of Glo adverts.
His burial details were yet to be announced at the time of writing this. Condolences messages, however, have been pouring in for him.
