Nigeria’s former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is currently in what could be described as an oxymoronic state. His convoy was recently involved in an auto crash. Fortunately for him, he came out unhurt, but unfortunately for him, two of his police orderlies lost their lives.

Details of the unfortunate incident are still sketchy, although we gathered that it happened in Abuja. The ex-President’s convoy was allegedly on their way to his Abuja home, from the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, when the accident occurred.

Friends and well wishers have been visiting his Abuja home to rejoice and commiserate with Jonathan. And among the early callers was his lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome.
