Years after a turbulent and controversy-ridden marriage with a hotelier, Lanre Gentry, pretty actress, Mercy Aigbe, has found love again.

Her new man, according to what we gathered, is a popular Yoruba filmmaker and movie marketer, Kazim Adeoti.

The love-stricken actress unveiled him on his birthday eve, Sunday, January 23, 2022, on her Instagram account.

Hear the creative arts graduate of the University of Lagos who already has two children: “It’s my Boo’s birthday in a bit 🎊🎉💃 Cc @kazimadeoti thank you for being amazing 🙏❤️.”

Adeoti, also the founder of the popular online movie streaming service, IbakaTV, is a married man, with four children. His wife, Funsho is said to be a fashion designer and brain behind Asiwaju Couture. Adeoti’s religion – Islam, however, permits him to have more than a wife.

Aigbe, from Edo State, and Adeoti, we learnt, had known each other for long. Of course, initially as just friends, and much later, lovers. A source told us that they may have moved from friends to lovers after Mercy’s marriage to Lanre collapsed.

Mercy and Lanre were married for just four years – 2013 to 2017. The union produced a son, Juwon. Although Mercy allegedly had a daughter before him.

Marriage rumours, meanwhile, are now trailing the duo, especially with what Mercy disclosed on that Sunday: “Finally I said Yes to ‘D’ Owner Thank you, God, of many chances.”

Other than producing some of Mercy’s movies, we also learnt that he had been featuring her in most of his works. Most times as the lead character. Examples are Prima Donna (2021), Raboni (2021), Traffic (2020) and Ayomi.

Even Mercy’s latest effort, J.B.O, is said to be a joint venture between the lovebirds.
